Our day started at 5 am after a hard night of little sleep. I was packed and ready to go,
(sort of) my parents told me multiple times not to lose my passport and to meet a rich attractive Spaniard to support my shopping habits ( that's fine with me ). As we pick up Ashley and Jade and are driving off Ashley says "where is my passport?" o man this is gonna be interesting ha ha. So after we find her passport (it was in the trunk) we set off for reals. We pull up to the airport and get out our bags, I forgot to mention our bags were huge and weigh a ton, and waddle to the check-in line. After an ordeal getting our boarding passes we were in! Everything moved really fast after that security, food, board, take off. O takeoff how I hate you, but what I hate more is that time does not move fast when you are in an airplane. Loooooong four hour flight. When we landed in the Chicago airport we promptly picked up McDonald's and headed to our gate. Little did we know of the frigid temperatures that awaited us and our almost five hour layover! I am fairly sure I got hypothermia And almost caved and bought a $15 baby blanket for warmth (Ashley wouldn't let me she is good friend). We holed up Ina corner where the Payphones were and tried to take a nap but the hard floor and temperature made this so terrible! Finally it was time to bored to the plane... It did not get any better from that point I am telling you planes are the worst thing that have ever been invented long hours of neck cramps and no sleep can put anyone in a bad mood! Not to mention missing breakfast. But I did get to watch the host bonus! When we finally arrived in Dublin Ireland I could have cried it was so wonderful to be off the plane and just in Dublin! It is soo green there it is insane. All of that mess of airplane misery is so worth it when you see this place! So green and so beautiful!~Megan
